I need the faqs for re 1, anyone could help me. I don't know what is the use of the Shield at the begining in the dinner room

oogie_boogie Use Gamefaqs.com or just of into google and search "Resident Evil Walkthrough" And the Wood sheild is used to swap with the gold shield so that you dont get locked in the room.
