I look at the long seperation of North and South Korea as a very unfortunately Historical incident. These are people of more or less the same culture, they speak the same language and they have relations accross the borders. The current bad blood between them, and the ideological disparities arising from the cold war scenarios should not stand on the way to the Unification of these two nations. My question is, won a Unified state of Korea be a good thing for the Penisular?

Having lived and worked in Korea for two summers does not make me an expert but I can speak for the people I met there. They view themselves as One People, One Culture, One Language and One Country. They understand the sacrafices they will have to make but Most of the People I talked with beleived in a United Korea and would welcome it.
