As i age, I am becoming increasingly convinced that we can never plan for anything, fickle fate has its will too

I see myself graduated from college with a career that I absolutely love, waking up in the morning not dreading going to work. I plan to be married to my current boyfriend and maybe a bun in the oven! I just want to have my life in order and ready to go for a great future. But you never know what happens, hopefully it does but you never know what life can throw your way! We can only hope for the best.

We cannot but accept what fate has in store for us. But for anything worse happen I contemplate living a very happy time with my grandchildren, showering them with love and care in abundance.

I decided a while back to quit worrying about the future.
Whatever happens, happens. We really do not have that much control over anything.
We could work all our lives so we can retire in comfort and peace and die the first day of retirement. So what is the point in getting all excited about it.
As long as today is a good day........that is what is important.

i can certainly see what you mean, yet so many people start planning for retirement in their twenties or so. Tommorow is still not ours, it puzzles me

I aspire to focus on the here and now. Of course it is not possible to do that all the time, but if I can just perfect the moment of now to the best of my abilities, and because perfection doesn't exist because everything is already perfect as it is, even if it's imperfectly perfect - LOL, whatever I do now in such perfection, will ensure the future for me - that doesn't yet exist.
I expect that will take some reading! Or not! :)

Well not very much changed i guess...just a garden with a lot flowers,a kitchen where the sun raise in the morning(i have this obsession...that in all houses where sun raise in the morning in the kitchen windows at least is all honey and milk)...and with my friends around...
...i try very hard to see me loving to cook...but the future seems to be so unclear all time when i make this meditation..lol!!
ha ha ha!!
hugs,
augusta

I want to still be here, so I better stop eating these cookies. I want Thom and I to return to Bermuda for our 50th Wedding Anniversary in 7 years.

I see myself as being successful...doing the things I've always wanted to do...living the life I've yearned for..I've had a lot of weird set=backs and detours in my goals and ambitions in life and I want to fulfill them. And if you want to hear something funny---When I was 16 years old my mom took me to a psychic fair...I had my palm read...the woman said I would be very successful in life, but my success would come much later in life...then off and on during the years..people would say to me that they got strong vibes from me that I would be a success...well now..I just have to live up to that..don't I?? LOL

I think we all have plans and dreams how we would like our lives to end up but the fact of the matter is it barely ever works out like you plan. So Ihope Im just alive in ten years and yes I will accept anything that comes my way because really I have no other choice but to accept it.
