How Did You Feel When You Hit 500 Posts?

why do people copy and paste? I don't really understand what the big deal is...why do people steal other people's posts? All my stuff is original, 100% written by me! (not trying to be mean, just wondering out loud...)

Oh my gosh! LOL You think your spending too much time here? Look at my number and think about how much time I have spent. ha ha I am beginning to wonder if I have a life. LOL When I reached 500, myLot did not have the rule or restriction. It was one of those things when they posted the alert, I was wiping my brow because I had already reached that milestone. :) But I do know what you mean. There are times the I get giddy because my number reaches a certain level and I start dancing. :)

Yes I was very excited. I mylotted like crazy to get to that mark lol. But when I did I had a great massive piece of chocolate cake and a lovely cup of tea to celebrate with my laptop lol. I also celebrated with all my Mylot friends who shared that happy moment with me. I hope I get to be the recipient of your 500 post. Now that would be a great honour for me lol, hint hint. I am crafty am I not lol? I haven't mylotted properly for days so I am so happy I can mylot myself to bits today. I am aiming to do at least one hundred long winded posts today, even if it means I go to bed at five in the morning lol. I have really missed a heavy does of Mylotting!!1

I was proud, but mostly just happy that I had managed to reach this particular milestone as I had been slow starting with myLot. After reaching 500 everything seems to have speeded up as it made me more motivated. My next goal is 1000 and I'm sure I'll reach it very soon.

8 months ago, when i first signed up for myLot, there were no such rules like that back then. maybe because we were merely around 10 thousand members only in number or less. there are no star ratings back then as well. so, basically, when these new rules applied to newbiese, i were more than thousands and thousands of points already. actually, it's good and better now. newbies are challenged in hitting the first 500 points. challenges make us a better person, right? we have targets and goals thus, making newbies better members these days. well, i am always excited upon reaching another hundred post. i wanna reach 8thousand soon and that's my goal right now. and yup, i should work harder and harder now.

I'm not sure how long you've been around here, but when I was at about 300 posts MyLot decided that those under 500 posts couldn't post pictures on other people's posts or copy and paste. Here I've already made 300 posts with these priviledges and all the sudden they were stripped away because others abused the system. I was on MyLot constantly after that posting and trying to hit the 500 mark and when I finally did I think I might have even done a little dance at my desk! LOL. You're almost there ... keep going strong!

I just reached my 500th posts. I guess this is my 501th. I'm happy to reach 500 posts, it's an encouragement to me. My next target is to reach my 1000th posts in one month time.

i just had my 500 posts yesterday and i really looked forward to it. i was so excited that i wnated to answer all possible discussions so that i can have it already. i was also very eager to cut and paste and to add pictures to my discussions. i feel that it will be easier to reach a certain amount because i can post lots of pictures already. good luck to you... and hurry :)

I was pretty thrilled. lol. That´s the life of the work at home mom! Getting super excited over posting milestones. To be honest, though it is really nice to be able to copy and paste URLs. Saves a lot of mistakes and also I like being able to write posts when my internet connection is down and then just pasting them when I get back online! :)

See my discussion I just started about that. I was very excited when I hit 500. Now if I can just figure out how to copy and paste on here....

The last time I reach my 500 mark I was so happy and excited. At first I think it's easier to respond to the discussion if you have the option of copy and paste but I realise that you don't have to copy and paste everything. One thing I like when I reach 500 is the chance to upload pictures in a discussion even you just respond to a discussion.

i am felt happy.. because i finally achieve 500 post within 2 week+ ..and it took me really sometime to get such an achievement.. what really makes me happy is that i can finally copy and paste!!.. i'm dislike spamming.. but there's alot of time.. i failed to post reply to discussion.. the page fail to load.. and i have no choice but to type everything back again and again.. it does annoy me at times . and .. finally.. i can post with no worries.. i can finally give out all my opinions .. and help as many as possible.. thanks guy.. for helping me to achieve this.. thanks again... mylot really does has it advantages and disadvantage.. keep it up.. and someday.. you might achieve 500 post too:) .. i guess i need to work about 4 hours per day to achieve another 500 =)

When I reached 500 points there was no milestone set, so, apart from the round number, there was nothing to be especially excited about. Saying this, I realize that lately I've not been responding as much as I did before.

I really didn't think much of it except yippy I finally get to copy and paste links. I'm a link happy kind of person.

I just past the 500 mark last night. I wasn't ecstatic about it, though I was a little bit excited as I can now copy and paste which can come in handy when mylot is down for maintenance. And since hitting the 500th post I can also add pictures to all of my discussions, not just the ones I started, which is pretty cool.

I look at the number of posts a lot of people have....amazing....utterly amazing. I look at my own post count and figure I'll hit 100 some time next year at the rate Im going.

To me, you have to ask how will I feel :( because im still way so far from 500!! I'll be glas and quickly quote article from internet to start disccussions.
