i woke up this morning and saw a new cat at our house the size of my 2 female cats and the same color of the coat. i thought at first that i was my one of cats but i saw its long tail coz my 2 cats have short-tail. i can touch him so i think he wants me to adopt him. my female cats don't want new company but i think the male can handle them... ;) i name him garfield, his coat is orange on face and tail and white on the body...

I live in the country and I have 3 cats of my own outside and one older female inside. When I feed my cats outside, I do not just feed 3- I feed 8!!! I feel like I have a sign hanging from my house saying "All stray cats welcome here". It would not be so bad if I could catch them or pet them. I worry about them not being vaccinated and worry about whether my cats will be safe with them around. I really love cats, they are one of my most favorite animals. I would love to be able to build a sanctuary for all the unwanted cats in the world. Some of these cats look like they have been through a war zone. I don't know how long they have been without human contact, or even what sort of contact they had before they found my home. Anyway, I still feed them everyday, and I try to spend time with them outside so that they might see that I will not hurt them, and eventually they might see me as a friend not an enemy. I am glad that you have decided to keep this cat. He seems to have found a home, where he will be treated with the respect and love that he deserves. I believe that people who dump animals without knowing what will become of them, have no heart. tdbrower1969

that is so nice of you... yeah, i agree that a person who doesn't take care of animals or even treat it good is a bad person... yeah, i sure hope he is still there at home (im at work right now) and he will stay with me for good! thanks! ;)

In Kerala, a state in India, they belive that any stray cat that comes to your house uninvited will bring you good luck!. and it has been proved to be true also many a time. Hope this one will bring you lots of luck with him. All the very best. I also invite any cat that passes by, since I am not lucky enough to have some cats come to my house on their own ( other than to steal some thing )
