hey there! can you tell me some of your funny experiences in the ward/unit? i am a nurse and i'm proud of it. the fact that we get to help people in all aspects, having great times with your colleagues proved to be the better destressor of all!
i love night duties and horror stories and binge eating in the pantry. haha! not to mention how my girlfriend and i used to have this wheelchair ride at night, strolling around the unit using those..loving it!

Wheelchair rides? Kids stuff! Try gurney races in a newly paved parking lot at 2am between rivalry hall nurses and orderlies! I was an Army RN - Triage Head back then and we made these deep wheel ruts into that new blacktop. The next day the nursing head was severely POed and blamed the 'juvenile delinquents' from the nearby barracks!
I saw an episode of M*A*S*H where they had something similar going on outside the OR. The nurses were riding the gurneys and the orderlies pushing away - brought back a heap of memories!
