Practical jokes. Do you think they're funny?

Some people like to play practical jokes on other people all the time. They think they are funny. Some are. Some go too far. I think if the person the joke is being played on genuinely gets upset, or hurt, then the joke has gone too far. Some jokesters can't seem to read other peoples reactions, or like to see them in obvious dicomfort. I had a practical joke played on me by my mother in law, about a week after my son was born. I was sitting in the lounge room, and she walked in carrying my son in his blanket, then made out to trip, and dropped him on the ground, much to my horror. She burst out laughing at the look on my face, and I found she'd wrapped a doll up in my son's blanket. Real funny. NOT. Have you ever had a nasty joke played on you, or do you play them on others?
