We spend a big part of our lives working, but each one of us give work a different meaning or value. For some people, a successful career is the most important thing of their lives, whereas there are other persons that only use work as a tool to pay bills, but their priorities are elsewhere like family etc. What does work mean in your life? up to which point is it important for you?

work is what gets my bills paid. it's what allows me to buy things i want and need. it's not much more than that.sometimes i wish i worked somewhere where i felt rewarded in way other than monetarily, but i realize that in order for that to happen steps must be made, one is working as a retail peon for a while.

This is a difficult but yet simple question for me to answer. There is one thing that is important to me, and it is: Enjoying what i do on a day to day basis. I think that we do work each day at least eight hours, and that is a great portion of our day, so it is important that we will enjoy it, and do our best in it, because we only live once. I can tell you that usually wherever i work and whatever i do there i enjoy it and do it the best, that leads other people to give me responsible assignments and usually i do succeed in what i am doing. Usually there are things that gets me so interested in my work, that i do have a tendency to develop it and end up with what other humans call a career. This word does not influence me much. I know that now i started studying a special field of computers, that i will do a career in. I never had a loving relationship with computers, but this thing does interest me, and i intend to do it the best, what will lead to a career and a successful pay.

This depends on which kind of job you are dealing with. If you are a boss, probably you will enjoy your career of being a director of others. If you have to tolerate chiding everyday, you should only treat career as making living way and pay more attention to your family.
