I loved Simons comment to Melinda last night!!!!

Did you get the comment that Simon made to Melinda before he gave his review. He said something like, Don't act surprised, you know you are a grea singer. It was priceless. I started a discussion a while ago regarding how I didn't like the fact that Melinda always looked so surprised to get great reviews and I thought she should get real. It made my night hearing Simon tell her the same thing:)

Yes, I watched that too and what I noticed is that as soon as Simon said that, her face changed. First, she relaxed and then when he started to compliment her on her singing, she looked genuinely thankful for his comments. I also thought she looked much prettier because she lifted her head up off her sholders. As you might be able to tell, I'm routing for her all the way!

She definitely is the best singer. I noticed how much nicer she looked also.

I saw that last night too. I think she is really that unsure of herself but it is time she stops that and stands up tall and takes the good comments. She was really pretty last night and I really hope she goes all the way because I think she is one that can do great things.

he he he yeah i laughed about that one as well and for once, she didn´t look to surprised. I will say as i always have. she might have been wowed by all the good comments in the beginning but by now she should know

Melinda is great. She does lack confidence in herself when accepting the reviews,but while she is singing she shows herself to be very poised and confident. I think she is definetly the best this season.
