when you're having your daily meal of scrumptuous food which do you prefer to accompany it? a cold or tap drink? i have read articles that said that drinking cold water can make you fat because the cholesterol in the food you ate would harden. do you believe in this? i can't enjoy a meal wothout a really cold drink how bout you?

I prefer cold water with my meals. It is more satisfying especially now that it's summer here in the Philippines. Some studies have proven that cold water can make you fat simply because it does not help in burning your fats like you have said. Maybe we just need to find an alternative on how to get thin instead of sacrificing cold water. =)

totally agree with you. it's too hot in the philippines to give up cold water. and about those fats, with the way we filipinos are working or the way we are eating less i'm sure we could burn that easily ;)

Funny. I have drank cold beverages all my life, and I have never been fat. I think this is another example of false information by the FDA. I prefer cold to cool drinks with my meals. During the cold months, I do enjoy drinking tea with dessert. Even after ice cream, I drink peppermint tea so it digests better. I am lactose intolerant, so if I happen to have an ice cream, I have to drink peppermint tea after. I have heard however, that cold drinks are bad for the body. That people should drink cool drinks. Nothing with ice cubes because it's shocking for the body. Not sure if this is true or false. Just something someone that deals with chinese medicine told me. Greets!
