Just want to know on how will you react if your mother in law is questioning your salary? It's like she wants and explanation on where your money is going? This is my situation right now and I strongly believe that she has no right to ask that to me. I don't know if i'm taking this as a big deal or not.

I think that would depend on if you are living with her and instead of saving for your own place you are spending your money foolishley. But if that is not the case than she has no right to ask you or tell you what do with your money ,what you buy and how you spend it is of no cercern of hers.

That's the thing. I don't live with her. She is in Canada while I'm here in the Philippines. Besides, we never asked money from her. That is why I find it annoying for her to ask me such questions. Thanks =)

I agree with Mrsbrian, if you are still living with your mother-in-law. She as a say on your salary. Especially if you help for paying the rent, the water, the electricity. And maybe your in-laws consider you more like their child too. That's why they want to know if you budget your salary well. Just try to talk to her on this issue to clarify it out. So you have your mind and worries cleared. Have a nice day! (^^,)
