Who is God to you?

Who is God? I know there people on here from many different religions and beliefs. Is God the same person to all religions? If he is not, then who has it right?

Yes, god is the same for all religions; I also think God is within you. Everyone is spritualand part of the universe.

God is no-one and nothing to me personally...Is God the same person to all religions? hhhmm maybe on a very basic level I suppose in a sense but thats about it..I mean realistically speaking God isnt the same person to ppl in the same religion for that matter ya know...As for who has it right...well I think everyone has it right but at the same time nobody does really...

Roll your eyes all you want. God loves you and I just wish you would know His Truth. We waste so much time trying to handle bad things on our own and not letting God take care of it. Just as the great old hymn goes" What a Friend we have in Jesus! All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry Everything to God in prayer! O what peace we often forfeit! O what needless pain we bear! All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer! How true that hymn is!

His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, He is the Alpha and the Omega. Only those who believe in Him knows Him, God wants us to be with Him, He waits for us.

i think the each God of different religions are the same. they just have a different tradition, beliefs and names. of course since my religion is Roman Catholic for me our belief is the right one but i respect the beliefs of other people with different religion.

To me God is God,and God is not man.One thing is that i believe that there is God.The way you take god is the way HE too will take you.It is just a simple logic.When you tell your father that i love you,you will discover that it is immediatelly the father will reply you that he love you too.So also with God.He said it also in the Bible that i know my sheeps and my sheeps know me.I think it is not possible for anybody who does not have any experience of who HE is to say anything about him.

God is not man. God is the creator. God is the giver. Man cannot possibly comprehend all God is. I think though that God has given man clues and direction.

God is the creator and the giver. God is who enables us to live each day and have positive spirit and direction. If we allow it God will provide a path for us and all humanity to avoid lifes pitfalls and help us through its problems. God provides for us even when we fail.

I don't have a god as such; I worship the seasons and the moon and various Gods and Goddesses. What I don't understand is those people wqho share the same God - why do they fight with each other? I don't think anyone has the right god, perhaps he/she is different things to different religions/cultures/peoples. Tricky one this!
