Shoaib Malik a new Pakistan Captain

I think it is a wise decision of PCB. Because Shoaib is the best available choice for the captainship. He is workharder, Sincere and compitent person, I think he can face this responsibility with confidence. Wish him Goodluck.

Very interesting question and observation. I do not think shoaib malik will be a successful captain. It is not a nice strategy to make him captain, a senior player should have been chosen to lead the side. By making him captain PCB has taken a big risk, I am afraid it will lead players to make groups within the side. It happened in the past and It would continue happening. In my humble opinion a person who had better communication skills in addition to good know-how of the game, should have been made captain and Misbah ul Haq and Salman Butt were players possessed these qualitis. But then again Salman butt is not performing well consistently. Misbah ul Haq has been doing well both as a batsman and captain in domestic cricket.

yes you are absolutely right I totally agree with you that Shoaib Malik does not have energy and he is not an aggressive player like Imran Khan or Wasim Akram our team needs an aggressive captain so that he will take our team to good position.

well i don't think that shoaib malik will prove to be pne of the best the captains.....once a player becomes the captain of the team his abilities decrease and he is no more able to play the same cricket..

Yes, the new captain of Pakistand and I am with this decision which is taken by Pakistan Cricket and it's one of the favourable decision for Pakistani Cricket team. He is yound, he' tallented and he's with all good qualities.

I think it is a good move by pakistan cricket board, PCB to make Shoaib Malik the captain of the pakistan cricket team as they have won the abu dabi one day series against sri lanka. Shoaib Malik seems to have a good cricket brain, he is fine allrounder and can do well as captain.

I personally feel that it is a very good move considering all the other senior players in pakistan team have refused to accept captaincy. Shoaib malik also has that captaincy skills in him and hence he is a good choice.

He's a great man and he'll make a good captain and ,surprisingly ,many senior cricketers have acknowledged that[something rare in our part of the world]. But he must not be rude and arrogant towards seniors as this will breed politics

I always felt that the captain must be an agrresive one...have a look at Ricky Ponting, Smith, Fleming,and even u take the past ones like Wasim Akram, Saurav ganguly all these captain was very attacking and under their captaincy the team had done well... So it is upto the PCB who has given a chance to the younger blood so lets see how he leads the Team ...

its a good and very deep thinking step taken by PCB 4 future by appointing SHOAIB MALIK as a captain...

well shoaib malik is quite young for this position, they should offer someone else for this position
