what are the Most common things kept in your dinning table?

I always want our dinning table to be kept neat and shout at my home people if they kept anything other than the usual items there.We have the salt & pepper bottle and water jug with glassess in a tray & a small spoon stand.
I dont want any other items to be kept but my elder brother will keep some books,newspapers etc always while sitting in the table and never have the habit to take it off while leaving.
What are the items you have kept in your dinning table? Does your home people keep any other items apart from the regular things?

I don't like to keep so many stuff in our dinning table either. In our dinning table we usually have one fruit basket some fruits on it, one napkin stand and one vas of flower. I take out glasses and water jug in the time of dinner or lunch.

A bottle of ketchup ( must have item.. i cannot eat without kethcup..), a jar of butter, bread, fruits.

after eating, i make sure that there are no other items on top of the dining table. i put all other stuffs in their respective places. but when not all people have eaten yet, there are some food on top of the table.

Good question! I wish I were able to succeed as well as you do with keeping your dining table neat. Ours usually ends up getting cluttered with mail, my husband's hat, keys, etc., cups, bread, etc. We have a small house, and not a lot of places to store things, so I think that's a big part of why it's always like that. I would love to have a professional organizer come in and help me get the whole house orderly. LOL

except water in bottle nothing on my dining table ,the reason mu daughter ,all things which should be on didning table like salt pepper,spoon stand are reason for great attraction for her,so let her grow up and then time do hv well kept table i'll have.

We have some books also kept in dining tables along with a jug of water, fruits and all as some of them have the habit of reading while having food andit's nice to read and have food isn't it? what about you there? do you also have that habit?

well ...on my dinning table there is a glass set with a cool flower pot in the middle,a fruit basket aside of it and some spoons and forks stand too.
water jug and glasses are almost must and when we sut to eat then we feel as is the togatherness of the people which make it so special.

almost every thing at the dining table in my house are same as your dining table. A flower vase is there in addition to these.
