do you comb/brush your hair even if its still wet?

I've never brush/comb my hair when it's still wet after shower. But I do com/brush my hair before I wash them and also sometimes during washing my hair/shower...but defintely not after I'm finished washing my hair.

I have tried to wait until my hair drys before I brush. I find that if I wait it is harder to get all of the knots out. I realize that the hair is more vulnerable when it is wet an it will cause damage to the hair to brush it out while wet but I can't help myself. I think hair is easier to style while wet.

I don’t believe hair is brittle when wet as I have combed them for decades of years. Every time after washing hair I used to comb away the water then I wipe with towel. Though I comb them when wet my hair is still quite normal now.

Daily am use hair conditioner and it will protect my hair so there is no problem with combing hair.

After taking a bath I brush or comb my hair when I have to go out but when I don't I just leave it until it gets dry or I don't brush it the whole day..

I think you are right , because after i wash my hair i towel dry it for just a minute and then i comb it while it still damp. For me it seems to stay in place better when it is competly dry.

I also have heard that you shouldn't brush your hair when wet, but, I must. I cannot stand all the knots. If my hair was to dry like that, then it would be a mess. Of course I use conditioner, but I still get knots in my thick hair.

Most beutitions say not to brush your hair when it is wet. I hate tangles so I do brush my hair even when it is wet. I also brush my hair 100 times before going to be at night as well. I think that if you can wait till the hair is dry you are probably doing the right thing.

Nope, I try to avoid combing my hair when it's wet. Because it's at it;s most fragile when it's wet. I always wait till it's completely dry before I run a comb through it. Combing wet hair means I might accidentally pull out some extra strands. Also, the strands of hair might sometimes break.

I use a lot of conditioner in my hair. If I don't bursh it when it is wet after a shower, it would be all in knots when it dries. I have never heard that you shouldn't brush it when wet. Hopefully the conditioner helps keep it from breaking.
