When I listen to music, it helps me remember a certain part of my life. For example, I listened to a lot of Guns N Roses while I was going through a break up, and it helped a lot. I now have respect for Guns N Roses in that aspect. Metallica reminds me of my brother because that was the time that he was a teenager and listened to a lot of Metallica. System of a Down, reminds me of friends, and finding myself because of where I was at that point. Smashing Pumkins reminds me of my son, because I was pregnant with him when I listened to a lot of smashing pumpkins. MY son would kick when he heard them. Godsmack and Merilyn Manson reminds me of when I switched schools in High School. I loved that time. Those are just a few examples of how memories can help you create a lot of respect for your music. What are some things that you remember in a certain time of your life? What were you listening to at the time?

I don't really remember the title but the lyrics go: "for together we stand, divided we fall, together we climb to the top of the world, we can be what we want for the world to see that we are the children of yesterday's dream". Whenever i hear that song i almost cry because I remember my childhood. That was our graduation song back in kindergarten. HAHA.
