Who do you love more your cat or your spouse? Who's more work?

I sit on the couch with my cat sprawled out on me. She purrs and lets me know she is happy and life is good. I love her so much, she is very clean and soft and huggable. She is low maintenance, a can of food, water, clean litter box and love is all she needs. I love my partner too, but I have to talk to him and feed him and wash his clothes, cook his meals, the list is endless and in the end he doesn't even purr! How do I know if he is happy? I could ask but then he'd say I was being silly and not answer. I'd say my cat is less work and I do love her as much as life itself, but I love him too, more than life itself. I guess it's a draw...

Hi Whywiki, I think you are spending too much time catering to your husband. People like what they cannot have. A man wants what he cannnot have. He is taking your for granted. You need to allow him to do more for himself. You need to do more for yourself. Why don't you and your cat take a vacation without your hubby?

I definately love my husband more than my cat. I must, I sacrifice more for him. heh. lets see...they both shed. they both cuddle. they both need their things picked up (the cats litter, the husbands, um - everything).. they both like the food I serve them... but the cat has fleas and the husband does purr for me on occassion and it is much more fulfilling than the cats purr. no draw here, he wins hands down. It must be the fleas, huh?

You know, thats the problem of men. When we ask them straight to the point questios they will always say we are being silly. When all we want is a simple answer. I love cats and dogs so much and its true they are easier to maintaing however they dont answer too when i ask them questions nor when i tell them what happen within my day. They make me feel loved because they cuddle me and always want to be hugged. For real conversation where i want some real feedback its would me my dearest honey. There are just times when he really gives a reaction instead of an answer. :P

Well ive known my partner much longer than my cat, and of course i truely love him in ways i could never love my cat, if you know what i mean, so i lvoe him more, but maybe not loads more. Neither of them are that much work, my bloke is well house trained and so is the cat, plus he tends to clean up after the cat anwyay!

I love my spouse the most and the pets are the most work. At least my spouse helps me.

I think the pet is definately more work then the spouse. I love to work with my spouse. The pet seems to destroy things and cause me grief.
