Many people talk of faith and destiny as if they are one of the same thing, but it may be interesting to examine the subtle difference between the two. It is believed by many that before we are born we make definite choices as to what we wish to learn, and the aim we want to fulfill the coming life. It is a spiritual decision which is rarely remembered once we are born, but in hindsight we often see that events and circumstances have led us unknowingly onwards towards our chosen destination.

In a way, I believe certain things are destined to happen in our lives but the WAY we respond to those things is up to the individual person. There would be little point to anything if everything was written and NOTHING could happen by chance, God would be pretty bored with the whole thing very fast. We have a choice in everything we do and say. I think some people who believe as you've said above, believe this way because they won't have to feel responsible for certain things in their lives. It's a cop out in a way. Blessings!
