I got a movie from NetFlix called Penny Dreadful. It was part of a movie Horrorfest, where certain movie theaters played movies that weren't normally allowed to be played at theaters, except for three nights. If you know if it you might know what movie I am talking about. Me and my sister watched Penny Dreadful last night, and it was soooo scary! This is one of the scariest movies I have ever seen, the suspense is painful, the camera views are scary and the 'creatures' voice and other sounds are the most shocking things ever! I recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good scare!

I haven't heard of this film but having read your discussion it sounds like it should be worth watching. I must check to see if my son already has it as he is an avid collector of horror movies. If he hasn't got it, then I will certainly be buying it. If you know of any more like this one, please let us know. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks for telling us about this movie. I've got it on a list of ones to see...that horror festival came to a theatre near me and I was set to go but didn't end up getting to. Now I've tracked most of the films from it down and have them on my online rental program ready to be shipped.

I think you'll really like this one. It was really scary. the special came to a theater by me too and I went to see Penny Dreadful, but the guy there said it wasnt playing (even though I checked before we came). So we ended up going to the one about teh children zombies...I have to say after watching penny dreadful in the comfort of my own home, I am glad I didnt go to it in theaters! lol

I'm glad to hear it! I had wanted to see all seven, but only managed to see Unrest, which was supposedly the first horror film to use real human cadavers. I'm going to rent the other six, starting with Penny Dreadful. Thanks for the info, Lily!
