News Coverage

Does constant news coverage add to or create anxiety? My own personal feeling on the matter is, constant news coverage makes it difficult for people to accept what has happened and move past events. They have "breaking news" where they intercept just to give you updates and they use an entire news cast talking about a matter. More sad is the fact that they stick cameras and microphones in someones face and say "how has this effected you". Give the people time to grief please. Does anyone else think the coverage of events can sometimes be to much or more than what is needed?

Very interesting comment you posted. There are somethings we need to know about and somethings we do not need to know about....The more serious things we need to know about......The question for media outlets is how much do they need to report and when is to much enough already.
