What was the name of that song and who sang it?

I love researching things on the internet, especially if they're obscure. One of my passions is music. I'm the type of person who asks, "What was the name of that song and who sang it?" when I hear something that I like in a television commercial, a movie trailer, etc. I'm quite successful in tracking such things down, or at least I like to believe that I am. At any rate, I'm always up for a challenge.
I was just wondering if any of you have tried tracking a song/artist down only to be met with failure. I would love to help!
So, if you have any requests, please, let me know. I love to do this!All I ask is that you be as descriptive as possible (i.e., I heard it in that Gap commercial with Claire Danes).

Oh girl I am gla I found you I have been trying so hard to remember who done this song it is mainly nstrumental came out way before my time I hae been told its bluegrass an I jut love he son to piese I would apreciate yorhelp but ht i all I know.Thank you and Good luck

Bluegrass is a very broad term. Where did you first hear it? Was it in a movie, by any chance? You say mainly instrumental, which leads me to believe that it has some lyrics . . . do you recall any of them, any phrase from the song? Any little details would be a great help.
