Is this allowed on mylot, or should I report?

I posted a post and it was this: What is your least favorite characteristic in your spouse? My husband always is joking with me, but sometimes he gets a little rude, I do take offence. I do not like when he calls me names about my background, even if he IS joking. That is one of my pet peeves about my husband. How about you? What is your least favorite characteristic about your spouse? But, I got a reply back stating: There was a cop on his horse waiting to cross the road when a little boy on his new shiny bike stopped beside him. ''Nice bike,'' the cop said, ''did Santa bring it to you?'' ''Yep,'' the little boy said, ''he sure did!'' The cop looked at the bike and while handing the boy a $20 ticket he said, ''Next year, tell Santa to put a license plate on the back of it.'' To go along with the cop, the little boy said, ''Nice horse you got there sir, did Santa bring it to you?'' ''Yes, He sure did,'' said the cop. The little boy looked up at the cop and said, ''Next year tell Santa to put the dick underneath the horse instead of on top.'' Is this even possible? Are we allowed to answer with such crazy replies? I admit, the joke was funny, but I don't think it was very neccassary.

I would've reported it :) I had someone reply to one of my discussions with a really long answer that was obviously copy and pasted from somewhere. Then when I saw the similar discussions down the bottom, realised that they had posted the exact same response to about 10 other discussions even remotely related to the topic. I reported them, and their reply got deleted. I think it needs to be done, it would be too hard for mylot to notice every person who is abusing the system, so I think we need to help out :)

well, i think you should try to understand you husband and try not to take things too seriously or you will end up getting hurt every now and then. i still dont have a husband, am too young for that as of the moment. am still 21 you see. but i have a boyfriend and i think these guys have their own way of showing affection that can be very brutal. sometimes i think they are just being insensitive. but i still love the way he surprises me every now and then though sometimes it irritates me because i dont like it when he doesnt tell me when he is coming home and stuffs like that.

Sorry but I'm not married. But the joke was really funny. I do not think someone should report you for this. There was nothing so rude about it. Although theres a special section for jokes and you should post it there. Although I don't mind for jokes :).

Well, Jennifer, the person who posted that reply is obviously trying to infalte their post count by copying and pasting a joke from another site. If you look at their profile, they've probably done it numerous times. You can report it without anyone but myLot knowing that you did, so that shouldn't cause you any harm.

Wasn't it a total out-of-place response. What did it mean, in the perspective of this discussion? It is really irritating. People just want to increse their no. of responces, in whatever way it might be. This is agaist the rule of MYLOT and the mods should take action against it. You rest assured.

I sometimes get nonsense replies too but I don't mind them. I would have reported them but well, I just let it go, if that makes them happy, sure, as long as they don't harm me in any way, I can keep my cool...

Just let it go. Yes it had nothing to do with the discussion, but there's no reason to try and get this person in trouble for it. Mylot will pick up on things like that, and his or her pay will be deducted. I know that mylot wants us to police ourselves, but unless someone is being heckled or picked on I don't see any reason to use the report button. You also have to give it to the person. Although I have heard the joke before, it was still funny to read, so give them that benefit of the doubt.

I think your post is about life. You're serious. The reply is a joke. The replyer should have post it in the joke section. It's simply out of place. No wonder you mind. Since here is an international place, many people here are not native English speakers. They sometimes may misunderstand because of their limited English. If I were you,I would not take it seriously,I'd have none of it.

if the joke was funny then you can forget about complaining............i think after you can have further trouble .....as you know that mylot does not provide enough security in such kind of things...........

I would report it as it has nothing to do with your discussion.
