US Homeland Security - yeah or neah?

Canada

Watching the TV show Crossing Jordan I have finally come to realize how bad the US is getting. There are laws out there are laws out there that enable US government agents to snatch a person off the street who they suspect a terrorist. They can then torture them if they do not talk (on US soil). What scares me is that if someone steal your idenity that and uses it for wrong they will only target the original person the name belongs to and blindly ignore the true fact. Is the US really its worst enemy? Are they using fear to keep their citizens in line? Is the US Homeland Security goones running the country?

We are told desperate times calls for desperate actions.Does this give the government permission to run over the rights guaranteed in the Constitution? What happened to due process or innocent until proven otherwise? There are people breaking the laws in an effort to "protect" this country. Is this a case of what is best for the majority may mean the running over of tyhe minority?

Hhaha, you answered your own doubts be reminding yourself it was on an episode of a television show. They can't do those things, no one can circumvent your constitutional rights.

but since 911, Homeland security has their own laws that even the president cant touch. It has happened to a few Canadian Traveling, if one travels to any of the red zones in the world you can be considered a suspected terrorist. And they keep an invisible cloat on this so people don't get concern over issue they dont need to.

No one that is a law abiding citizen is afraid of Homeland Security in the USA. Most people in the USA are grateful for Homeland Security as they keep us safe from criminals that want to harm us.
