Are you a fashion victim?

Do you take all the trends of a give time and end up looking like a store mannequin; in a word, absurd? Are you a compulsive shopper? Do you purchase brand-name apparel only and will only consider wearing an item that is "the latest trend" regardless of whether you can pull it off or not? Do you buy an outfit that is perfectly in style, but when you wear it, you look perfectly ridiculous? If you do, you are a fashion victim. A fashion victim is someone who can't put himself together because he tries so hard to look hip. Remember, it's not about the clothes you wear -- it's about how you wear them.

for me, fashion is all about the ability to mix and match your clothes and accessories well suited for the occasion and of cos, the weather in Singapore! its the ability to mk your clothes & accessories have a soothing & 'wow' factor whenever u are dressed up. its the entire package. wiht your make up, hair and even your nails etc! as for brand name. nope, no one needs to wear brand name stuff to look good. anyone can look good in decent clothes and accessories that come at a fraction of its price. but then again, if money is of no problem. then wats the problem with togging yourself in brand name stuff? they are usually of higher quality anyway. last but not least, fashion is about that personal touch, about dressing up to feel good about yourself while at hte same time, expressing yourself. :-)
