I don't have right to Celebrate 500 ... My 500 celebration Discussion Deleted :(

Cammon friend, dont get disappointed. You know one thing, somewhat similar thing happened to me when i was one post back to reaced my 500th post. My discussion was not deleted, but i dint get even a single response for the discussion. At that time my posts were 498. I thought if i get response for that discussion then my post will change to 499 and then i will start a new discussion to celebrate my 500th post, but then i dint get any response. Finally i had to respond to others discussion to make my number 499 and then started discussion on 500th post. So such things do happen. Dont take it seriously. Just keep posting and enjoy myLotting :)

Do not take it personally. If I remember correctly, I think we got an alert not to long ago from myLot asking that we not post these discussions announcing that we have reached a milestone anymore and that they would delete them. The same goes for the discussions announcing that we were paid. I do not know if they will go back and remove all of the previous discussions relating to these topics, but I do not think that they will be allowing them in the future.

I dont know why it would have gotten deleted because I did the same thing and I dont believe mine was deleted. And I got quite a few responses to it, huh...i wonder why they deleted yours!

First of all, congratulations on your 500. I am so close but I feel like I will never get there. It is work. Is it possible there was just a glitch? Perhaps the system went down around the time you placed your post. Maybe you could post it again just to see.

Congratulations for reaching 500 posts here. I also experienced that a few responses of mine have been deleted. My 4 responses have been deleted here upto now. I think I have responded to some discussions which were not original but copied from other members discussions. So when mylot deleted those discussions, my responses also have been deleted. Though it is really sad that we are responding but these are deleted.

Welcome to my lot, you'll get used to it. If your interested I started a few discussions on this very touchy topic....lol...I working on a revolt of sorts...lol....sorry my lot that was s joke.

If you would read the writer's guidelines and rules you would know that we are not allowed to create discussions that announce milestones. Mylot considers them a violation because all they do is encourage members to say pointless things like 'congratulations' and 'good job'. Sure, that's all sweet but it does not make a quality discussion, and if every one of us did that we would find ourselves weeding through these pointless discussions just to find the quality and thought provoking discussions. Sometimes it happens that the discussions having some violations are deleted by the mylot. Most of mylotters are also not abiding by the rules and fall in that category. So keep an eye of those rules and don't worry, it will be okay after some while. Enjoy posting here.

I too dont understand why mylot deleted discussion that does not have any wrong content.Hope you felt little disapponited because it was your 500th post.But when i reached 500 i felt happy that i have copy paste option after that.So you can also feel happy in this way like me as you can spare time to write some topics offline and then paste it in mylot.Anyway i congragulate you for attaining the 500th mark.best of luck.

wow.. that's pretty sad.hehe maybe the administration has it's oen reason for doing that but they could have at least informed you of the why's right. i find it unfair that they deleted it without letting you know. at least when they will inform us of the mistakes that we ahve committed there will be a lesser chance for us to commit the same mistake in the future! right?

If I were you I would try posting it again , I tried as many times to post things last night and MY Lot wouldn't let me , It went offline shortly after that so maybe your discussion got last then , congrats anyway to your 500 it is a brilliant feeling isn't it ? . try it again anyway , if it goes again then you can ask admin why xxxx

That is really sad. I know how it feels especially the one completing your 500th discussion.

you are not allowed to post such discussions as it is against the mylot guidelines, you cant post about 500 mark, nor star ratings, birthdays, any of that. I should know, been there done that and had them all deleted.
