How to make my photo sharper

How to make my photo sharper when upload to website? I start with scanning the photo i want, then i upload it to my website. But, it seems like it becomes blur after i upload it. The resolution at the scanner i put 100 %, after scan with tis resolution, i change the pic. width to become 145. Anyone can help me??

Do you have Photoshop? 'Unsharp Mask' is the best tool for clearing this sort of thing up.

hi i dont know the problem is coming in scanning or during uploading on website. if u pic is clear then scan it in 100% dpi and then if u feel pic is not clear even then , after that u can use adobe photo shop software to give pics sharpness. bye
