Attached is a photo the area where I have the wifes fave plant. Her endless summer bush. That's the only plant you can see right now. There are 4 Hostas, 2 Ladys Mantle plants and a few lilies planted here. Anyhow I planned on doing a lot around the garden today but..... The wife woke me at 8 a.m. One of our small trees behind the garage had finally broken off landing on the back fence breaking 2 of the boards on it. So I had to remove the tree from the fence then cut it up. With my asthma that took most the day between wheezing and resting. HAHAHAHA! It appeared to be severly damaged from termites. I did manage to weed the lily bed and other areas then gave all my flowers and 2 apple trees a good wqatering. So seems this weekend will be busy with gardening chores. Thanks for letting me share the daily life all the time here. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Hi grandpa, your topic reminded me of my past hobby as a gardener. While growing up, we have a huge garden beside our house and in front of our gate. I remembered once I planted a lot of this green plants and the leaves are dark maroon. I can't, for the life of me, remembered the name. I planted a long row of it and all our neighbors admired it so much that most of them kept coming asking for one little plant. It grow very fast and daily care is needed. After a few days, I saw that my neighbor's garden also have a nice row of plants like mine. I tried looking at the photo you provided and it look so sad for now, LOL! I wish I have a photo of my garden. Its a beauty and a lot of colors in it. Happy posting, grandpa.

Hubby and I are getting down and dirty this weekend...gardening, that is! We just got a dogwood and 3 tree peonies. We got to get them planted this weekend before it's too late in spring. We also have an apple tree in our yard and it's starting to flower. I love lilies. Are they hard to plant? We're not very good at gardening at all. But we try. I seem to overdo it sometimes and they die on me!!! I'm also going to get more perennials that are hardy. I need stuff that are easy to grow.

I am so so jealous. I don't think I am going to see spring at all this year. There's still 10 inches or more on the ground here.
