I actually have no idea when mylot did start, i thought it would be less than a year as the oldest members I saw joined maybe 6 or 7 months ago (if I remember correctly) what makes you think it's May 6?

As you go to discussion no:1 & 2 they have been removed because of discussion guidelines violation and the discussion no:3 is still there and is started by a user 12 months back and there is website which shows the performance and traffic to so many sites on which you can read mylot has started in may06 but the date is not found here.

Mylot officially started on August 11, 2006. I think people
started enrolling during pre launch period. Now it has
developed into big organisation. It has 88000 members now.
One million discussions have been posted. I hope they
celebrate the first anniversary well.
