are you contented with who you got for a sibling?

i am one of 9 children.4 girls 5 boys.all of us are adults now.out of the nine 6 are left.2girls and 4 boys.some of us are talking some not.why?that is a good question.the only one that knows is the one brother that chose to cut the family off with no explanation.there was no arguments,nothing that anyone can remember.its been 2 years now and it is really hurting me and my siblings.e-mails,phone calls,gifts,everything.no answer.he knows we love him no matter what.he was always a really big part of the family and he is missed,i thought maybe hes gay?but we are a very open family and being gay was never an issue here....so what in the hell can it be?we were all really close.i made him a scrapbook for x-mas inclued all those special momentos from our parents and our childhood,thinking maybe that would really make him at least send me a email.nothing...what else can i do?any suggestions???

I totally relate to you. My brother is 5 years older than me so that's a pretty big age difference. When we were little we used to fight all the time. We get to a point when we even intentionally hurt each other. I can remember the times when I really wanted to kill him or just tell his friends how horrible he is. But when I got to high school, I guess because we're at the same age bracket already we got along pretty well. I love my brother very much now. He always hangs out here in my room although he's got his own just to talk and hang out and whatever. He almost always brings home something for me when he goes out. I do too. He's my best friend.

i love love my brother and sister. they are awesome and i love spending time with them and just be around them.I am very content with who i got for a brother and sister. I would not change them for anyone in the world
