I was walking at the mall a while ago, and i have to use an overpass to get to the otherside, as i walk up the walkway stairs, i find myself counting the steps as i reach for the top... then i realize that everytime i walk up stairs (in office, walkway, at the mall) i always count them as i went up and down. haha
im not really sure if i count them so i will not notice how long i have going up or down...
any of you does the same as i do?? Why do you count the stairs? :)

I think it is some kind of obsession that you have . heard about Dr. Samuel Johnson, the literary genius who while walking through the streets touches each and every lamp post that he happens to pass through - in case of forgetting to touch any one of it he used to come back and touch the post. Silly ,you might think.

Interesting. I was thinking of posting a discussion on counting STEPS, but guess I won't do it now.
But no, I don't count stairs either. I just look at the destination and walk straight to it.

Never thought about counting while going up the stairs. For me, it seems longer if I count while going upstairs. That sounds weird to me doing that hehe...
