If you found a bird with a broken wing, what would you do?

I am such an animal lover, especially the birds... I would take it in, keep it warm, and call a wildlife shelter to find out where to take it. I've rescued a lot of birds that hit my windows, they get stunned for awhile. I usually pick them up and hold them and talk softly to them, gradually putting them on the ground to see if they can fly. One time, I rescued a drowning hummingbird. If it weren't for the pest control man telling me it was in the bucket of water, I wouldn't have known! I put it in the sun, it sat there for awhile, scared, but it eventually started to hop around and finally flew. It was soooooo sweet!
