It is no long that I was there asking for advice on some good historical novels. And now I am here to thank the ones you suggested I read something from Philippa Gregory. She is great, a very good writer and Wideacre is the perfect book for me...historical settings, romance, a good rhythm and a good English. I strongly recommend this book even though I am only at the beginning of it (I read it slowly only because I have to look for many unknown words on my dictionary because I am Italian, but my English is profiting very much. Any other fan of Philippa Gregory? Any other good advice?

my dear friend, nice to see you enjoy my discussions...it was a good advice I received and I am sharing with you my discover. Actually I won't say that this book is difficult read in English...it is easy to understand the overall meaning...but I am working on widening my vocabulary and therefore I am always having my dictionary near to me and I am looking for every single words I don't know..this makes my reading a bit slow but my English is improving and i am happy...I have no need to hurry up with my book but I am still working on my English...so have a good reading

She appears to be a well read and learned author who is amazingly accurate in her fiction as it relates to historic England. I think you have found a winner. Good luck with your English.

Well, that is just so good for you then. Learning a new language is always a challenge. So, keep it up. I am not his fan, so I know nothing of him at all.

I love Philippa Gregory! I love all her novels about the Boleyns, and also recommend the The Queen's Fool, The Constant Princess, and The Virgin's Lover. I haven't read the one you are reading now but will check with my libraian and see if he can order it in for me. She really brings history to life, doesn't she?
