Did you use it? Did it work for you? My boy's second tooth just popped thru, and it looks like another will be coming soon on the top. So I bought some Orajel to see if it would help, because he is SO CRANKY and it didn't do anything! Maybe I didnt use enough, because I was scared of choking and only wanted to use a dab, but it didn't seem to help him. Anyone else have this problem? Just wondering about that, and also How much did you use?

I did not like using the oragel....tylenol wil help with the pain and also try to give your baby a teether, they have thes jell filled ones you don't really have to set in the freezer for a long time and they wont get hard. You can just put them in a glass of ice cold watter to lessen the sting of the cold. That may also help with the fussiness and you mat want to buy these nuby nipples that have the little notches on them for babies who are teething..it helps too.

I never liked Orajel, myself. What I found that worked was the teething tablets. They seemed to help my daughter a lot more than Orajel ever did.

If he is in a lot of pain, then the Orajel may not be doing much for him. I used baby Tylenol or baby Advil to ease the pain and that worked much better. Given as directed, it's very safe. Also, you can give him something cold like an ice pop to help ease the discomfort. Some kids suffer more with teething than others and some teeth cause more pain than others. I hope he feels better soon.
