I have never been the type to get her nails done...get pedicures and manicures...get my eyebrows done...etc. Recently...I got my nails and eyebrows done for the first time. It kind of hurt towards the end...but my boyfriend thinks they look good...although it was my first waxing experience. It hurt a little when she started plucking...My question is do you frequently get work done at a salon/spa etc...or do you stay natural? How do you feel about the pain..prices...atmosphere etc?

Alot of the times I don't do it because of the prices. So I tend to be natural most of the time. I do pluck my own eyebrows at home so it's cheaper. I will do my nails every once in a while, maybe once a year, on a special occasion. I would really like to do it more but I tend to break the nails too quick when I do since I'm always doing stuff with my kids and around the house. I think it's really nice though for a woman to be able to go out and pamper herself once in awhile though. I think alot of us tend to put kids, housework and others first we forget about ourselves and need to realize it's okay to go spend a little extra on ourselves. Some places are spendy, but it is worth it though when you don't get to do it often.

I do my own eyebrows and nails. My sister has had a pedicure done at a salon and told me how wonderful it was. You do need to treat your feet well. Think of all the pressure they are under. She said it was worth the money spent.

I am a little apprehensive about getting a pedicure...I don't know if it would be hygenic...I would have to know what to look for? If you have any suggestions....let me know....

I do not go to the Spar I do it all myself My Nails My Eyebrows I do not see the Point in Spending the Money if I can do myself But I am glad you went for it and if you keep on top of your Eyebrows now you should be able to just pluck them, also the Pain gets easier specially if you do it regular lol

I go to have my lip waxed to get rid of the facial wax. It hurts a wee bit but I can not stand the hair on my lip. I hate that. It gets expensive but I don't gom often. It costs me about 15.00 each time.

Frankly, it's a treat for me to go to a nail salon and get a manicure, pedicure and eyebrow waxing. Yes, the waxing hurts a bit, but the results are worth it. Properly shaped eyebrows can really make a huge difference in your appearance. Sometimes, as women, we have to endure a little pain to be pretty.

Hello icequeen I did waxing in the salon twice, and it was a long long time ago. It really hurt me, maybe i prefer to do it myself at home. I like to make my own wax cream and that is not hurt me at all. I mix honey and sugar and then put in microwave for 5 second or more. Then i start to wax with that. and that not hurt at all. I did manicure once at salon and i really dissapointed with the result. And never did that again. *angel http://beautycosmetictips.blogspot.com
