finally, a season of success for heartbroken teams. utah has been out of the playoffs picture since the retirement of john stockton and departure of karl malone, but now, they're back, not just two, but 3 key players (carlos boozer, deron williams, mehmet okur) and maybe add up AK47 to the list. this has been utah's most successful season since the malone-stockton tandem. they might as well look further to the second round. on the other hand, tracy mcgrady is looking forward for his first playoff series win. t-mac and yao tandem is supposed to be a playoff winning team but injuries limited them. now that both are healthy, plus key role players, houston might head back to the second round, and t-mac might finally get his first playoff series win. will the malone-stockton winning legacy be finally passed on? or will t-mac finally get to the second round?

It would be a great playoffs for the dynamic dou of Houston, T-mac and Yao.They are unstoppable and I think they will win the series in game 5 . Game 1 updates:After missing all six of his shots from the floor and posting only one point in the first half, Tracy McGrady came alive after halftime to finish with 23 points and seven assists. Six of those points came in an 18-4 run to end the third that gave the Rockets the lead for good in an 84-75 Game 1 win over the Jazz on Saturday. Yao Ming racked up a game-high 28 points and pulled down 13 rebounds, while Rafer Alston scored nine, dished out eight assists and grabbed 11 boards. Deron Williams showed few signs of jitters in his first playoff game, leading the Jazz with 15 points, nine rebounds and nine assists. Carlos Boozer added 11 points and 12 boards.

this year's playoffs will definitely be fun to watch. every series will be exciting and fantastic for all NBA fans out there. both in the west and in the east will there be games to look out for. now, going back to the jazz-rockets series. yes, you are right. the jazz are playing the best season since the departure of their two future hall of famers, Stockton and Malone. As a matter of fact, there was an instance where the jazz were undefeated and were having the best record in the NBA. but because of injuries to their key players, Jazz fell short for some time during the season. now, with all players healthy, though AK kinda questionable, it seems to me they are going to give the rockets a run for their money. T-Mac and Yao should be ready. and should take their game from the outside, probably from the 3-point arc. the rockets have two great three point shooters in their line-up, Head and Alston. T-Mac will be dominating this series, scoring wisely. and he can score at will especially against a team like the jazz. it will be a great series to watch.

i'd pick t-mac to finally get his first playoff series win this time. utah also is a really deserving team considering their major turn around this season, but i think the rockets will get the jazz this time
