what is your reaction if your boss shouted at your work performance? What do you do if your boss criticise your ability at performing a task? Will you just keep quiet so that you wont get fired? or will you answer back and risk losing your job? Or maybe inform someone in management about it?

Absolutely NOT .. This is why I work for myself. I also have sales reps that I treat the way I want to be treated. It's absolutely BULL that some bosses think they can treat their employees like dirt. I have gone through so many job from the time I was 15 till 22. I would give it right back to them. I don't take crap for anybody. If my parents don't yell at me, no one else has the right to either. If they want to criticize me for my work, that is fine. Do it in a respectful way. There have been times where I have had it out with my boss. I have gone to management and gotten fired over it. Maybe because I went at it instead of just keeping my mouth shut and then going to management. Who knows. I am 29 and since 22 , I have been my own boss. It's nice that way. LOL

Well if the criticism was justified then i would accept it and move on without saying anything. However, if i felt i was putting my maximum effort into the task then i would give my opinion to my boss and let him know i disagree, i wont be bullied in the workplace by my boss or anyone else.

if my boss is concerned then definitely ill prefer keeping my temper to myself rather than losing my job. i may say rude things behind his back but ill not dare open my mouth in front of my boss. because usually bosses are arrogant things and out of superiority they think that they can do anything cause they are perfect. well if there is someone in the management whom i can inform without risking getting fired then ill definitely not bear criticism unjutifyingly. if i m wrong and i know that i deserve criticism then ill not hold any one else responsible other than myself

i'll tremble in fear.. haha.. actually i have this fear in me.. and i'm trying hard to get rid of it.. any idea? er.. but after awhile.. i might think back of my work performance.. to see if it's true of what he says.. you know.. the boss comment is always the best.. you work for him.. you have to suit his working style.. but if you can suit the customer more.. then ignore your boss.. go for the customer.. somehow he'll regret for yanking at you later on... if i'm being accused.. i will quarel back.. and .. maybe.. end up being fired.. who knows? :)

I think that you're experiencing psychological harassment. The biggest problem about it is to prove it. One way to do that is to note all the situation when your boss is criticizing you to future reference. It's good to inform the management about the situation if you believe that he's not aware of the situation. If the things goes worst after you've talked to the management about it, take my advice: Get the hell out of there. Don't keep a job until you're sick or depress. It doesn't worth it.
