How many Indians here are still watching the World Cup 2007 matches. I stopped watching after seeing India loosing so badly! against Bangladesh. What about you are you still watching the matches? Give your opinion...

I was very excited when the world cup started as I was hoping that India would do well in the world cup if not win it.But then India lost to Bangladesh and I was shocked as were millions and millions of Indians were, it resulted in a decrease in my interest in world cup but still I used to watch the matches in bits and also used to listen to the news about other countries matches. But after India's exit that interest has also subsided and I don't even listen to the world cup news. I have not watched any match of world cup for many days now. It is not only because of India's performance but also because of Pakistan's exit and Bob Woolmer's murder, these things have a combined effect on my decrease in interest in world cup.

I have not stopped watching cricke world cup 2007 but in fact i have got more interest in the matches without the incapable over hyped indian team. But i definitely have decided to stop watching indian cricket here after. Because the players are earning millions of rupees and still not performing at least to 10% of it and still the team has been hyped a lot by the media and I am fed up with all these things and have decided to stop watching indian cricket henceforth and will not show any interest in indian cricket hereafter. I hope others too will do the same to teach a good lesson to the indian team or bcci team and their money hungry board.

I am an Indian and I still watch the world cup cricket matches. How could any body avoid the fun and drama in the super eight matches. The steamroller of Australia, the fighting spirit of the Lankans, the Ravi Bopara innings in the England - Lanka match, the great fight of the Banglas against the South African Team, the double hatric of Lasith Malinga against South africa, the never ending array of boundaries with Mathew Hyden. What a thrill? what a drama? How can anybody who admires cricket can avoid all these in the name of the ousting of an incapable team like India. Some poor souls think this is patriotism. I feel pity for them.
