I have. I was picked on, bullied, and everything under the sun when I was a kid. I was made fun of because I had glasses. It's like the kids in my small elementary school in the 80's never saw a small child with glasses, so those of us who had them got made fun of. Oh, and when my dog died when I was six, kids on the bus would say, "Is your dog still dead?"
As much as I wanted to punch their lights out, I never wanted to hurt them. Things got better when I changed schools, but I never ever wanted to talk to those idiots again who teased me.
I think something needs to be done about bullies and help for the bullied in the process, then maybe bad things wouldn't happen.
Have you ever been teased, bullied, etc. and how did you deal with it?

I was picked on at school when we first immgrated to Canada. I actually skipped school on and off for one month. After we moved to another school, one kid used to called me names. I couln't handled it anymore, so I grabbed him, picked him up and was about to throw him into the trash can when the bell rang. After that, no one picked on me anymore. Sometime we just need to take action for others to stop harrassing us.

When I was in grade school there were boys who always pick on me. I can't understand why they were like that, they did things that made me cry like hide my school bag, hit me with a ball during ballgames, throw pebbles at my back. I'm a girl so I was really hurt why those boys treat me that way. There was one time when I had to fight one back because I really was fed up with him already, he was always sitting next to me exchanging seat with my seatmate and doing things that really annoy me. I hit him with a book and all our classmates and our teacher saw it. Knowing our characters, our teacher took my side. He was embarrased, and I was glad that he didn't enrol the next school year.

I was always bullied at school both at primary school and secondary and even in the workplace, I was teased and bullied because I was a fat child and had bad teeth and I suffered day in day out, the girls were worst than the boys. The teachers wouldn't do anything about it and I did try to lash out but that made things worst. I made sure I didn't cry in front of them either. I think that's why I go to the gym five times a week now, I am certainly NOT fat and NOT weak I only wish I could see those bullies again to show them my teeth are now great too! It has a lot of mental and emotional implications and it makes me so angry now to hear people being bullied I just won't stand for it.

They say size does matter , and how true it is , I was always been athletic and had a stout figure and that helped me a lot , i was never been harashed by my fellow mate , and not even by my seniours. As i was not in the receiving end i wasnt in the giving side also , every body knows me in my school as a gentle gaint , that was they used to call me :0

I was teased a lot in public school, but it got worse when I hit high school. The teasing and bulling was so severe that I ended up transferring schools. Before long I found myself missing so far behind from all the school I missed that I dropped out in my 11th year.

I always found myself being a mediator in situations like that. For some reason people respected me in high school and I could shut them up when they picked on someone. I wasn't afraid to speak up when people were making fun of others. Not saying I'm an angel or anything, but I was popular and hung out with different social groups, not just one. I decided long before when I was at that other school getting made fun of that when I started at my new school I was going to befriend everyone. No way was I going to restrict myself to some Clique.

As a young one I was sometimes! I was really nerdy for awhile, big glasses, super tall and skinny and I was a tomboy. Finally when I was about 13, I ditched the glasses, my hair turned light blonde naturally, and I didn't look so akwardly tall and suddenly I was the popular kid..lol!
I didn't handle it well. I would go home and cry and cry! I never really fought back, just on a few occasions. So once it got better I made sure to be friends with everyone and never left anyone out. I feel it at least taught me to be a better person!
