India should have more reserve players who can fill in the shoes of the seniors when situation arises. We should not face a situation like in the case of Sehwag or Pathan. India was so desparate that they cannot find replacements for these two players. They have done well in the past, but failed any merit in their selection to world cup. India would have done well if they have replaced Pathan with someone like Ranadeb Bose, who did well before the world cup. Players like Ramesh Powar should have made the cut with the way played before world cup. India should promote youngsters, with a blend of seniors. I hope the selectors do not rush into this. We do not want to see a completely new team. Get some new blood with the better performing seniors.
