I don't know why but I just had an interesting thought. Voice recognition is getting more and more accurate, and with text messaging, most people use abbreviations, why not try to put the two together and make a voice recognition system for cell phones. Is something like this possible, can using a handsfree headset to send sms a viable possibility.
I don't know if a voice recognition system can be made to fit in a smart phone, but there are times I am in my car listening to the radio and they have a contest, I have started using sms to send in entries (like 100th caller or message wind tickets to a concert). I would like to just do it from my headset something like this = menu-messaging-text message-enter contest-end message-'radio station sms number'-send.

The technology is going forward very fast, this could be used in many ways - even for security and to prevent criminal actions or solve other things.
It is actually used already in some telephone companies but maybe not the way you are suggesting.
You might have done some invention here!!
