A few years ago my girlfriend and I went to see a movie called Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman. An action packed movie about the famous vampire hunter. Well we thought it was hilarious. Right from the beginning we laughed so hard we cried. The dialog and the story were so lame that we couldn't help but laugh. Yet I've seen this movie several times because it's one of those bad movies I love. Right up there with Pauly Shore and Ishtar. Paradise Alley and Rhinestone. What bad movie do you love, or maybe even own on DVD?

I have to say that my favorite good-bad movie(that's what i call them) is Army of Darkness. I'm not a big horror movie fan, as this movie is slated to be. But, it's so cartoony and corny that not only wasn;t I scared I laughed through the whole freaking thing.

Oh, I don’t know if anyone would agree with me but I find Moulin Rouge somewhat cheesy but I just couldn’t help watching it and loving it. I have it on DVD too. Other bad movies that I love are the spoof comedy Scary Movie. It’s so tacky and somewhat gross but I just couldn’t help laughing. White Chicks also comes to mind. That movie is so stupid that I love it.

I think the first time I watched Moulin Rouge I couldn't finish it, it was so bad. A few years later I watched it again and liked it. It's quite cheesy, I agree.

i don't think every one will agree with me but i find the movie of lindsay lohan 'the confessions of a teenage drama queen' a bad movie. i think it doesn't have a plot at all and its so disorganized. i've seen this movie through HBO and now i have a DVD copy of it somewhere.

haven't seen that one. I think I'm a bit old for teenage movies.... seems many movies these days are lacking in plot though.

I think one of my all-time favorite "bad movies" is Waterworld. It cost a fortune to make and was a total bomb at the box office... yet as stupid as the whole thing seems, there's something appealing about it that makes me sit and watch, every time it comes on one of the late night movie channels. A more recent movie many people seemed to think was awful, but that I rather liked was "Lady in the Water."

Ishtar was one of those costing a fortune but lacking a decent script movies, that totally bombed at the boxoffice. I kinda like it just for the blind camel and the vultures.... I liked Lady in the Water too, it's one of those movies that stays in your head for days. I liked it a lot actually. Yesterday I watched the Lake House, which I don;t think was a money maker either but I enjoyed it.
