What must a CS player do to improve his gameplay?

What are your most useful tips in playing Counterstrike? What contributes to a player's improvement? I've been playing it for quite sometime, and as I found out many people have different ways of doing things.

well first of all the best thing tactic to learn is to fire at the head while running or jumping. Then try firing at the head while strafing. Remember you should be able to hit it in 1 shot. Then try firing at the head while crouching. Then go unarmed and try to last without dying in front of an enemy by strafing jumping and running.

If u want to be a good cs player u shld spend a lot of time on playing it and also look into better players game how they play and learn from them how to tackel the situations...Shooting improves by practicing only...I had been plyin cs frm 2 yrs and i was plyin 8 hrs a day during my early days...so as much u practice u become a pro player.

Well my advice is: THE more you play, the better you get! Go out there practice and you will keep getting better and better :)
