When our parents aged, some need assistance just to go through day to day life. Is it a wise and practical decision to send them to old folk home or get a lived-in nurse to care for their needs?

We live in a culture where we have respect for the oldies. In this case, sending our parents to home aged centers is not advice. But if the situation is unavoidable, for me, it is best to hire a lived-in nurse to take care of the oldies. Not just that they are in good hands, but the fact that they are still in our care. It is because we can still see how they were treated. However, I still believe that the best way to repay our parents is by being the one taking care of them.
