most dreams can't be realized. even when a dream is turned into reality, you will take it for granted. only love can't definitely make a marriage work. perhaps you are not lucky enough to marry a person of your dream, but as long as you love each other and commit to the marriage, you can make your marriage work.

In the first place why do you have to marry him? In whatever reason you'll be marrying him... once you marry him whether you like it or not... make the most out of it. You put yourself into that situation... then be your best... if he cant be the man of your dreams then be the woman of her dreams... give him a chance... give your marriage a chance. If you cant do that... DONT GET MARRIED or youll make your life miserable.

I'm actuallynot engaged, and this was just a question that popped into my head awhile ago because I like someone I don't think I can have. I've also heard of people sayingg, even after they were divorced and married to someone else, that that first person will always be the love of thrir lives even though the marriage didn't work out....and this was AFTER they had married someone else. So, I'm just curious as to what people's thoughts are on what it takes any kind of a relationship to work in the long-term.

Yes, it can work. Real life can be so much better than anything we could ever dream up. Maybe someone might dream to be married to a person who is thin and good looking. If they were to get that, the person may turn out to be stuck on themself and selfish. Like the song says -- "Thank God for unanswered prayers."

First of all, why do you have to marry him? is it because of financial matters? is it because of a parent's agreement? man of your dreams can be different with the man you love. Right??? we have our ideal man this is what we call the man of our dreams, but sometimes we can't mold this dreams of character into one man or one person. I believe that marriage can work when there is love, trust, and respect. The three components that can make any relationship successful.

yes, i think so..because i think you will not marry a person if you dont love him, if you dont feel the magic feeling that goes inside of you, that you dont have the care..it will still work it think..

Better understanding of the person you marry will solve all problems, this is an institution made by God it cannot go wrong. First man should his wife secondly wife should respect the man easy going
