Do I have a unique university student son?

I was always led to believe that university students would save up their washing and bring it home to be washed during the holidays. My son started University in September and has settled in very well. He has just been home for the Easter holidays but said he did not want me to do any of his washing and will take it back with him to do himself!!!! Was it something I said?

it sounds like your son has grown up and can stand on his own two feet, which is good you must have brought him up to look after himself and reley on no one to do anything for him

Yes, but isn't it sad - boo, hoo. He will soon not need me any more at all. At the same time it is great to see them turn out so well. Thanks for your comment.

That's a very good sign. Your son cares and he is helpful, considerate, and loves his mom. Be grateful for that and let him do it so that he won't be spoiled. Just help him and support him in so many other ways.
