Be it snakes, caterpillar, earthworm and anything that squirms is eeeeky. It just make me want to move away as far as possible. I don't like them and I don't intend to like them in the near future. A caterpillar ever clung onto my skirt when I was younger, I just took off my skirt immediately and ran without it.... I just hate wriggly stuffs...

Snakes are more afraid of you than you are of them. They will go out of there way to avoid you. They can be dangerous if you corner them but if you give them a way out they will take it. They fill an important place in nature and the last thing you should do is kill them. I had my first encounter with a Cobra last year and after I got my heart started again I was amazed at how beautiful he was.

I've been scared of spiders for a long time. I have to make my wife kill them, usually. I didn't used to be afraid of snakes, but I dated a girl who had a pet snake once. Shortly thereafter, I started having nightmares about snakes. Now, they creep me out.

I'm not just afraid but I get paranoid. When I see a snake I can faint or at least give freedom to my voice. I don't know why I'm so afraid. May be because they look discusting and alwful and makes me believe they are deathly dangerous. I just don't like these craetures at all.

first of all, i'm most afraid of the snakes.. i used to listen to my grandparents stories on how they actually live in the police barrack.. those housing area that are set up mainly for police officers.. they told me many stories on animals.. and the mainly the snakes.. they say there are many types of snake there.. once my grandfather even saw a king cobra.. it's really dangerous.. and you do know police officers have to undergo jungle training for sometime right? he say that inside the jungle.. there are more snakes.. and we cannot be afraid of them.. if you are afraid of them.. and you run immediately.. the snake will chase and bite you..all you have to do is be calm.. and let it go away.. is it true? i don't know.. but i've seen many documentary movies and i think it's true =).. i don't think i want an experience with a snake.. i wil tremble in fear lol

Yeah I'm scared of snakes actually I'm afraid and giggles whenever I see animals that have no feet. Even seeing a small worm will definitely make me giggle and scream.
It just feels like the will crawl to my body with slime and cover me whole.

If I see a snake in the grass somewhere, I am afraid until I can tell what kind it is. Here in Austin we have 3 different poisonous snakes -- rattlesnake, cottonmouth, and coral snake. They look very distinctive and while you may confuse a non-poisonous snake for a poisonous one, it is hard to confuse a poisonous one for a non-poisonous. I do fear these and because of this fear, I always watch my step when in long grass or out hiking. In general, though, I am not afraid of other snakes. I have many friends that have/had snakes, and none of them have ever been bitten. My friend Dave had two snakes for quite some time and they were very pretty to look at. They ate baby mice and were actually pretty inactive, despite their large tanks. I've never been bitten by any snake, but I used to find baby diamondbacks (a kind of rattlesnake) in the woods behind my old house. This means, of course, that there was a full-grown adult somewhere, but I never found her. We killed the baby snakes because they are dangerous, especially in a neighborhood with lots of little kids.

Everyone is afraid of snakes! But there's really one creepy animal I am phobic with--spiders! Yes, and ever since I was a young girl, I find that eight-legged insect terrifying. Never mind if it's the harmless kind. . any spider sends my heart pounding. I remember waking up at night because I had this delusions of being attacked by them! The good news is, I have overcome this phobia today, although I still hate spiders around me.
