when you buy a new clothes, do you wear it immediately? we all know that before a garment is produced, it passed through many steps, many hands hold it, and many viruses and bacterias are in it. i have read one article about washing new garments after wearing it. This girl buy new bra that is on the market, she didn't wash it after she purchased that particular bra. after a while she saw some rashes on her nipples but she didn't mind it. then she noticed that it's getting bigger, so she go to the doctor, the doctor said it's just some rashes. but when she begins to feel pain on her nipples, she consulted other doctor and with a shock, she saw some larva on her nipples. there's plenty of holes in it, and the larva is coming out... i had goose bumps after i saw it.. so i suggest wash your new garments first before wearing them...

Yucks!!! I also had goose bumps after reading what you write. Anyway, I don't normally wash it but apparently it is better to wash it. I work in the garment factory and I know that the way they handle is very dirty. I don't think much about the virus/bacteria more on the cleanliness. If you see how the item is being produced from fabric to garments, you will always want to wash your new clothes first. But funny, I still don't. The fabric may have some chemicals left over so it is better to wash it to rid it of chemicals.

i don't wear anything straight from a department store even if they are sealed. so much the more if i knew someone had tried it on to fit the item. i wash them first before wearing them.

I wash my stuff before I wear it. I don't care if I need to wear it that day I will go wash it or wear something else.
