Pyruvate, a carbohydrate like nutrient, began appearing on store shelves as a weight-loss aid several years ago. Food sources of the nutrient include bananas, red and golden delicious apples, red wine, and spinach. However, to achieve fat-loss benefits, most experts recommend supplements. Take three to five grams daily, depending on your weight. Though pyruvate has been studied for 30 years with no reported side effects at the recommended dosage, take it in four to
six-week cycles (four or six weeks on, then one week off) as a precaution.

I have studied weight loss supplements and somehow I have missed this one. I am definitely going to look into it further for both writing articles and blog posts about it and trying it. I really need something that works to help shed the fat. I have been exercising more and eating healthier but the weight loss is slow going at this time.

I thought I'd heard of every suppliment on the market but I haven't ever heard of pyruvate. As I'm trying to loss a few unwanted winter pounds I am going to check for this the next time I'm at the store.
