I foun this interesting article on Associated Content in which the link between the Virginia shootings and the voting off of Sanjaya is looked at....

That is such a nonsensical story and it's very rude! I wonder how the author can ever link those two situations. I hope the author would think twice before writing such a stupid story such as that!

I don't see the "nonsense" part..it was an "opinion" piece showing how the media was altered by the gunman and Sanjaya both and how the public as a whole was influenced....thanks for the reply

He's the only thing I see when I turn on tv..all over the place...he succeeded in stealoing the attention and the airwaves. Thanks for the reply...I appear to be the only one thus far seeing the point..

I think this Associated Content article is pure bull. The author is no doubt trying to capitalize on the sensationalism of the two stories. Twice the attention, but I didn't buy the argument for a moment and felt it to be a big waste of time. Sorry.

The article's claim is that people are directed by the media where to put their attention and feelings...thus leading to a society of psychiatrist patients similar to how the Scientoligists are now trying to gain attention via this..they may actually have it right this time.

It's a pretty disrecpectful story, the killings had NOTHING to do with Sanjaya! NOTHING! So why is the author trying to make it seem that way? It seems like just another attempt to get attention from the media that is just pure BS.
