HOW DO YOU IMMAGINE YOUR FRIENDS ON mY Lot LOOK LIKE???

Yes, weemam, I do actually try to imagine what some of my friends look like, unless, like you said, they've posted a photo of themselves. However, just as it is when I've heard about someone, or talked to them on the phone, and then actually meet them in person, they never really look the way I'd thought. I'm sure it'd be the case, if I were to see everyone I'm in touch with on here, as well. Interesting and thought provoking topic.

I like being called a Pal.Lol.Yes weemam,I too have made a picture of my friends here,out of my own imagination.When I respond to any of them i have a face in mind and this way it makes more sense in interacting. I don't have my picture in my profile and I respect other member's choice too of whether they have their pic displayed or not. Good that you told.I'll see your pic now.:D

Oh yes, I certainly do have a mental image of what I think people look like when I answer their discussions! Usually they're nothing like what they look like in real life! lol. You, however look very very similar to how I imagined you to be. Except I thought for some reason that your hair would be white! Don't know why lol.

i dont mind people calling me pal or mate etc etc. but usually when talking to a friend on mylot well i dont picture their faces exactly but i just picture a friendly, loving and kind person expressing their feelings etc and sitting at their computer lol.

Probably internet junkies who spend most of the day on mylot typing away haha. Funny thought. I also see them as hard working people =)

yep. whenever i respond to their discussions, i don't think that i am just writing or typing down my explanations... but more so,i feel like i am really talking to them while they listen to what i have to say about the issue. i look beneath the avatars and feel really close to them. there are some i send personal letters to and some small things in packages. people i feel really close to even without meeting them yet personally. there are people you feel light upon and you know they can be good friends for you as you are for them, too. being here for 8 months, i say, there are lots of genuine friends here in myLot. it's just difficult to fine them at first. but later on, they will finally make you feel welcome.

wao! Some have donloaded their true pictures and the ladies especially look extremely beautiful. Even hose whose picture w havent sen look really great from what they write. I only have a problem with some who admit to being witches and practie withcraft-those will scare me nomatter how beautful they look! There is one who was requesting mylotians to accept some spells he was prepared to send on the net-i thought such people must be really scarry!

No, I don't exactly put a face to them unless I've already seen their pic, but I tend to try and imagine their personality from the way they spoken in discussions, because that's how I know them, for their inner selves rather than their outer. My avatar obviously isn't me... lol. I'm a little older than her, but she just represents my ways. Brightest Blessings my friend.

Oh weemam, you are right, I too do this. I picture you as a loveable, cuddly, warm, smiling woman. Kinda big, but not too big, and lots of hair; and always a big smile. I picture you as a friendly type that people can easily speak too and children are attracted too. AM I right? LOL Oh don't answer that, besides, I really have my grandma in my mind when I chat with you. I lost her when I was 14. I loved her so, just reading your discussions reminds me of her. actually I am totally clueless on what people like you here in mylot really looks like. I don't want to imagine anymore for majority of people here is undercover he he! maybe you really want to be as secretive as possible. A very interesting topic. In my experience, you can imagine what people will look like, but they seldom do. For an example: I had been listening to a radio talk show for years before I got a computer. I thought this host would look like he sounded. Boy was I ever surprised when I went on the website and saw how he really looks. He looks nothing like I pictured him I've had the same thing happen with people I've talked on the phone with.

I really don't try to picture them out and their avatar is the only pic that is in my mind when responding to heir post . I have seen the response rate vary with the kind of avatar you keep . Though that primarily depends on the kind of discussions you produce , but avatar does have a role to play . E.g guys will be attracted to the avatar of a pretty lady or a pretty girlish face . Even though the person writing has nothing in similar to his avatar buts the avatars pic that creates a pic of his and helps form opinions of that person , his personality etc . Though after reading the posts you have the exact idea of what the intellectual level of the person is . YOu can never sketch out his face from his discussions . If you are bent on using your imagination you may try but it will not come any close to the real one .

Well I know what a few of my Friends look like including you ( you are lovely and such a kind Face ) but the ones I do not know what they look like yes I do try to imagine and see a certain Image in front me I do not mind the Pal I like it lol because it is you

well i do look for some pictures on avatars before i accepted one as a friend here,but if i dont see one i still accept them and always imagine what htye look like as for me i have also a picture in my profile.

i figured them as a fair looking, and i wish they are like an angel, i imagine them smiling when i response to their discussion and happy when i had a discussion and they have eagerness to respond and help me. i imagine them very kind and friendly, and they are not judgemental. i imagine them loving and has a respect for other people and very accomodating , always there when you need a helping hand.

I do not imagine how my friends in myLot look like. I simply take their avatar to represent them. I am not good at recognising faces and hence I recognise most of my friends by their username. If I want to be funny, I simply imagine the characteristics of their avatar.
